Ok, so here's the deal. I have to pick a positive theme song for my college success class, and i'm having a hard time choosing between two songs. The theme song assignment is this: Your assignment is to find a positive song that inspires you to be the best you can be! This song can be something from your past, but it mush have real meaning for you.

I can't remember if this song was from the 80's or 90's, however, I do remember it was played on the radio and at the clubs. It was a great dance song. I think it mentioned New York, Paris, London. I believe it also talked about Reagan and Gorbachev. The voice sounded sort of robotic. Does anyone know this song?

This well be very vague and for that I apologize. Ok I think it was sung by Vince Gill around 1994/95 something about a letter of his grandmothers telling about how the love between her n his grandfather was forbidden but they saw each other anywas. Me and my buds are starting a band and we have already mastered More than a feeling by Boston. This is a great song and is realatively easy to play (we learned it in about a month). Oprah has had rappers on her show, Mc Hammer etc. She is a woman who's not into gangster rap. Whats wrong with that? I'm not into it as well. Oprah's audience is not made up of gangster rap lovers and 50 Cents audience is not made up of women who like Oprah's show. Different generation. Gangster rappers should move on to something else and leave Oprah alone. What do you think?
