I need to make a cd for someone as a surprise. Can you guys tell me the best rock songs of 2006 and 2007. He likes All-American Rejects, and listens to Nickelback and Hawk Nelson. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

In the song Answers, from Afterglow, there's a scratchy part around 2 mins in, before the chorus (when it goes away). There's antoher one aroudn 3 mins. When I was listening to the cd, it seemed like part of the song, but now on my MP3 player, it seems like a defect. Her voice is garbled and stuff too.

Is this some effect they put in the song, or a problem with the cd?

I'm a big fan, and I'm always wondering why people don't like him. I'm not a music snob or anything, you know, like the ones who say if you don't like Dylan you suck :P, I just really want to know! the first with 12 lines an ab ab pattern
and the second with 10 lines and an aa bb pattern.
