I know Aerosmith done a later version, which most people know, but the earlier one is done by them also, EVEN tho I know it doesnt soundl ike them. My gf says Led Zepp. was the earlier one BUT I dont ever remember them doing a version. If anyone knows of anyone else who done a early version Please let me know.

Im looking for some classic rock songs to download, ive got some led zepplin, montley crue, whitesnake, etc.... but any rock songs/bands from the 70's, 80's or early 90's would be great as i might have overlooked something. (It's not Randy Travis and not country.) It's a guy singing, but he doesn't have a deep voice. It's a very mellow song, like one you'd hear in the grocery store now. The 'forever and ever' lyrics are strong in the song and the 'ever' is held and the tune goes up and down with every letter of 'ever'. I think it's a love song and was out late 80's?

the song is about a really loud lead singer that has to keep leaving the room because he was to loud man! you can here him running further away to get the write sound i last heard it in the late sixtys or early seventys help!!!
