The first one's lyrics are:
"I see you burning that midnight oil," sung by a man and it has a relaxed, almost reggae sound to it.

The second one goes like this:
"true love should be absolutely free"
This song is sung by a woman, and sounds like R&B/Soul

Someone suggested Danielle Peck may be singer but I've searched her new lyrics, and cannot find anything similar? The message is saying to 'dream it anyway', 'believe it anyway' a hope song. I love it and cannot find it anywhere not knowing the actual title.

I thought it was Dashboard but I was wrong. The dude's playing an acoustic guitar , singing, all that fun stuff. He notices a hole in his wood floor in his room which keeps getting bigger and bigger. He eventually falls into I think. I'll know it when I hear it. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I only know part of the chorus at this point, so there's not much to go on... but it goes something like this ... "why don't you like me , why don't you like me", etc. It's a bouncy, upbeat rock/pop song that sounds like it has some "Queen" influences. I know it's a long shot... but just in case... (the rest of the song has the male singer making suggestions that he could be ____ or he could be ____ to the listener, hence "why don't you like me?") I dunno. BAH!!!! It's driving me nuts and I want to hear it again. Thanks!

I am 42 now. THis is a song I recall from an old Sonny and Cher album from when I was about 16.The refrain Lyrics were "Apples don't fall far from the Tree, Hey honey, come sit on my knee..." I thought this was the title but I have never been able to find anything on it. Y'all have always been able to help me before.
