Hi all,

Im 16. I love listening and playing music. Well, if you could call it that. I can figure out the notes on the grand staff well enough, just.. not very fast.. and playing with more than two hands.. forget about it! But I can't afford lessons around here.. so, what sort of things can I do to improve my piano abilities/music reading speed?

Any one know of any good post-bop jazz albums?

By post-bop, I mean jazz that was losing it's Charlie Parker, hard swinging tradition through the 1950's . Music that is not totally free jazz, because it still has some melody to follow.

The best examples I can site are some albums between 1964-1969. Your suggestion does not have to be from this time period.
Wayne Shorter-The All Seeing Eye.
Bobby Hutcherson-Dialogue.
Eric Dolphy-Out There.
Andrew Hill-Point of departure.

I tried burning CDs for friends and family through my iTunes but whenever I give them the CD and they play it on their own computers, there is no information about the song, just the word, "Track 1" and so on and so forth. What is causing this? Can I do something to make iTunes store the song data for my friends to see whenever they play their CDs on their own iTunes in their own computers? Thanks! :)
