If Kurt Cobain were alive today, would he be more successful than Dave Grohl??

Dave has the talent Kurt sadly lacked. Dave has the versitility Kurt never did & to be to the point, Dave just has a musically orientated mind, in my opinion that is the reason why Foo has been kept alive for over 10 years.
I think Nirvarna would have phased out after a few more years if poor old Kurt didnt pass on.
In the Foo Fighters Bio DVD, Guardian Angels, it is explained that Dave had a major problem with Kurts drug habits & its no secret that the members of Nirvarna (excluding Cobain) had a problem with Cortney Love.
I think Dave would have left Nirvarna to create the Foo eventually regardless of the death of Kurt & Nirvarna would have fizzled away.

Yeh i think he would. He had a lot more depth then Grohl. I do like Grohl but i would give a nut for Kurt to be still makin Music.

no. he didnt want to be in the limelight, and wasnt happy with the way things were. i think if he were still alive, they would have eventually gone their own ways, and dave grohl would have still become what he is. but well never know so it doesnt even matter.

Hell yes. Nirvana would have still been active and Grohl would have still been a drummer for the band.

If you measure success as popularity,then he is more successful dead than Dave Grohl is alive.He did not consider himself a success and he could not handle his popularity.He was successful at killing himself,unfortunately.
