Great song! Yeah, I'm a guy and the emotion is pretty overwhelming everytime I hear it. The willingness to sacrefice your life for another is the best thing any person can do for his fellow human being. That's what lifts us up from our otherwise destructive nature which so many choose to embrace.

My friend just used that for an extra credit assignment in English class. I usually don't like country, but based on the lyrics, it actually seems alright.
