I can't believe the political statement the Grammys have to make by choosing the Dixie Chicks to win. Everyone knows that the people at the Country music awards don't like them, and no one in the country can stand them. I really think Carrie Underwood should have won. Her album was amazing.

I understand what happened a few years back with the Dixie Chicks... but they took home a lot of Grammy's last night. In your own opion, do you believe that America has forgave them?

In the begining of the song, "Rubber Band Man" a woman begins with lyrics that sound like "Dave and Batter." She repeats this and fades out. Sounds like, "Dave and Batter, Dave and Batter, etc." What the heck is she saying and what does it mean?

The same phrase is also said in a different way on Jibbs album.

It is driving me crazy. What the heck is it?

I've recently heard a song that's being used in a commercial here in the states.. Problem: Can't remember what the commercial dealt with, except for the fact that it starts off with a dandelion seed puff blowing over green country-side and slowly coming apart while a female soloist sings, " What you doing with the rest of your life, etc., etc., etc? " Believe this is the song title, but don't know the artist.. Sappy, I know, but it's nearly Valentines day and the song is beautiful and fits my situation perfectly.. Any other romantics out there with answers ?? Thanks, from a classics lover..

I remember watching a video with my aunt that included Yoko Ono, and she had some kind of white sheet over her head. She was sitting on the ground, yelling some kind of singing!

Any ideas?

Hey, I'm looking for a band that has a similar sound to the Wallflowers. I love Jakob Dylan's voice and the steel guitar on Bringing Down the Horse. What bands are there like that?

Underrated post-grunge bands like At the Drive-In or Sunny Day Real Estate started the whole emo genre yet most people have not heard of either.

I work at a retail store and the current music rotation features remakes of Talking Heads "Road to Nowhere" and Berlin's "The Metro". They are both sung by female singers and would be relatively new releases. Any ideas on who sings 'em?

Does anyone know of a good Christian band that sounds like Incubus, Chevelle, Fuel, Alice in Chains, or anything along that lines of late 90's and early 2000's sound? I can't find any new bands that are not either punk/metal, emo, screamo, or rapcore. I'm just looking for a real, raw rock sound like Seether or Fuel or something. Any help would be appreciated.
