this song was out in around 1993 to 1995 its by a man with dreadlocks and some lirics go 'coz i cant help falling in love with you' and it was played a pheobes wedding in friends on the bongos any help would be appriciated thank you!!!

Please help me figure out this song title, or even the words??

This song sound kinda 70's like but may be new..not sure. The words sound like he is saying"We wrote the book...We wrote that book" or "We walk the ?, we walk that ?".It sounds like several people singing, kinda like "Love Shack". At the beginning of this song he sings something like "we got a real thing blah blah... we got a whole lotta (something?) going down. Anyway its driving me crazy and I cannot seem to find it. any help is appreciated! thanks!
Oh and its not the Hues song, rock the boat, although thats what they could be saying.

Like I'm not good enough to like a certain band? I like their music....isn't that good enough? I'm not some crazy person who is all "like he is SO hot" and I don't stop liking a band because the singer is engaged or changed their hair. Sometimes I feel like I'm not even owrthy enough to like any bands.
