Like I'm not good enough to like a certain band? I like their music....isn't that good enough? I'm not some crazy person who is all "like he is SO hot" and I don't stop liking a band because the singer is engaged or changed their hair. Sometimes I feel like I'm not even owrthy enough to like any bands.

Elitism (sp?) some people just want to be the be all end all expert on something and think that if you don't know your favorite artists' favorite canned veggie then you're not a real fan. Some people also tend to insult new fans as if they've staked a claim on band and anyone else who comes along is wannabe.
I know people who act this way about bands, sports teams, movies, etc.
It's pretty pathetic.
