Go to WinMx v3.54 beta 4. It is better than all the previous versions of WinMx and is free if you get it from the official WinMx download site. I have downloaded over 5,000 songs. Not counting videos, pictures, and books. It is also very easy to navigate. You may have to download what they call pie patch but don't let that bother you. When all the popular p2p that were free and popular were removed WinMx developed a way to keep their community on line with the patch. Free, legal and only takes a few kb's of space. You will be pleased.

Limewire is good software i still use it to this day. I really like Limewire, I'm actually an avid user of it. If I want to download a music file I use Limewire always. If you are looking for a good peer to peer software to download music, softwares/programs and videos you should get limewire too.
It's a safe and reliable pogram but like all peer to peer program you have to be careful of what you are donwloading from it. It does not matter what P2P program you use, you always have to be cautious about what you download.
Don't use torrents/downloads from other sites, they might be backdoored.

its illegal you will get arrested for it. you could pay a fine of over $10,000 or go to jail. ever hear of Guinness World Records? in the 2007 book it says first person jailed for file-sharing. you'll be the next victim if you use this.
