When people write music, that is; the word to the song - who writes the music behind the singers? I see in movies where a song writer, using either a gituar or a piano, writes a few notes on song paper. Next thing that happens; there is a studio full of musicians and all that music is being played behind the singers. Who wrote all that music?

I already sing fine by myself i mean im not bad but i could use a lot of work. I have problems making the right sounds i think. Also my biggest problem is doing higher notes. No i dont mean soprano, but mor of a high alto note. Maybe its because im going through puberty, im 14. Somebody give me tips or help please.
