The Legend of Johnny Cash was the album i started with. It's the best i've heard. Great mix.

What I have found about alot of newer Cash fans is they were turned on to his music by watching the movie Walk the Line. I would suggest you start out with the Legend of Johnny Cash. Alot of his more mainstream hits in there and gives you good starting point and introduction to his music. The Legend of Johnny Cash 2 was just released. Lesser known songs on it, and a great album.

I love the one that just came out with the video with all the famous people in it. I don't remember the name, though. And I really could never get into him after my husband got his "Folsom Prison" record back in 1969 or 1970 and played it over and over and over and OVER a-freakin'-gain!!!
