I don't know why, but some time a while back I started associating Rage Against the Machine's song "Renegades of Funk" with Grandpa Munster. Somehow I got it in my mind that Grandpa Munster could sing this song. Now, every time the song comes on the radio (which is at least once a day on KROQ here in LA), I impersonate Grandpa Munster singing the song.
Maybe it's lyrics like "Everyday people like you and me, Herman..." or "We're the Renegages of Funk, Herman..." that really get Grandpa Munster stuck in my mind. I even imitate Grandpa singing, "Now dance, sucker, dance..."
Even when I MENTION this to people anymore, they start to think of Grandpa Munster singing this song, and now they can't get it out of their minds, and associate the song with Grandpa Munster! So, what do I do? Do I stop listening to KROQ (too drastic a measure), or ask KROQ to stop playing RATM's "Renegades of Funk" so that other people and I can stop thinking about Grandpa Munster singing that song?
