I was wondering if there was anyway to change it to the correct timing because skipping through the song becomes a hassle. There is no secret track cause after the 3mins it goes to the next song like all other normal ones and i use Itunes for my music player

You're referring to an MP3, right?

I used to have that problem too quite a few years ago, when I played MP3's with bit-rates higher than 192 kbps and those with variable-bit rate, in an older version of the Media Player.

Have you tried using a different player?

What happens when you use a different player???

If it's the same problem I use to have, the only thing I know you can do is use an MP3 editor. Open the file (it will probably load in WAV format), and then save it as an MP3 file / 256 kpbs (FIXED)rate.

Kaos is right. There's probably a secret track at the end (usually on the last song of the album), and it's a pain in the *** to get through 10 minutes of silence. I use a sound-editing software program to take out the silent part, then make the end "secret track" its own track and burn the CD again. This way I can skip the parts that have nothing, or just have the full CD without the secret track, if it's crappy. Let me know if you'd like me to do this for you. (I can fix it and send you the song and the secret track as two separate files.)
Hope that helped!
