i did see the who in 1980 was excellent.....i also saw pink floyd in the late 80's also excellent........but my favorite from back then was robert plant with phill collins on the drums excellent..... i bet alot of you guys were there with me !

Peter Doherty (The Libertines, Babyshambles) is slowly spinning out of control due to a heavy drug comsumption. This jerky could actually be talented IF he doesn't blow it by snorting too much blow (amgonst other things...).

My question is this: Could this talented song writer blow it all like Syd Barrett? Syd had more talent that Doherty, but blew it all (after forming Pink Floyd and a few solo albums- even his career as a painter dwindled) in the late 60's acid rock scene. Could Peter has the same fate as Syd (but without a super model girlfriend like Kate Moss... P.S.- Doherty gave Moss the coke that she got in trouble for!) ?

Ok, whats the best song you have heard that is mainly rock. but has some screaming in it. Like for example, Hawthorne Heights, they have a song called This is Who we Are, that is mainly singing, but at some parts they scream. Can someone tell me a song like that but from a different band? Thanks
