The Stones are without doubt a music industry phenomenon & deservedly have the right to be still at the top, but to say that the Beatles were crap is just so childish! They led the way and ALL other groups aspired to be as good, some like the Stones, coming pretty close, but none will ever eclipse them. There is not enough talent amongst all todays 'artists' put together to become as talented as the Beatles and never will be, they havent released an album for 36 years yet are expected to top the charts & outsell EVERY other album that has been released this year. with the new compilation out this week....and half of them are dead!!!!! Now you tell me thats crap.....I dont think so.......make sure you dont miss the next dose of your medication or you'll never get better lol !

Hmmm, ok, but the Stones started off by playing blues and r&b covers didn't they?
And the blues and r&b come from.....??
Clearly, Jagger & Richards never thought that the yanks "didn't have a clue"
Oh, and Led Zep were English and U2 are from Ireland...but at least you were correct about Nirvana!

Stones are over rated. The Stones tried to be the Beatles in the sixties, so according to you, the Stones must be on a crap list now. Don't go telling the yanks they have no music taste. Where did the blues come from that the Stones covered? Where did Chuck Berry, Dylan, Cash and Blondie come from? Same place as Brittney Spears and Justin Dumbdick come from... Good Ol' U-S of A!
Don't listen to this puke, my American friends.

GUM has it right + U2 (Irish), Floyd and Led Zep are English. The Stones are great AND, as with ALL the rest, greatly influenced by AMERICAN Blues.
Oh and if you think the Beatles were American I think you need to go back to school. They came from my City, Liverpool

To answer your Q with another - how can anything or anyone STILL be something it/they never was/were? You seem to know an awful lot about crap and very little about musical talent!

The Strolling Bones are a bloody embarassment. So what if they still tour? It's been at least 20 years since they sold anything like a decent amount of records. They're in it for the money and it's sad that they can't just accept that they're cringy old pensioners now.

I am British, and think the Rolling Stones were musically talentless. Incidentally, I don't think the nationality of a band is any indicator of their ability.
Music is subjective. If you had half a brain cell, you would know this.
