Please dont bother posting Korn etc as although I would like to play them its an early pre water shed evening show, so its just not gonna happen. Anything easy listening/country would be fab but I will be playing The Doors and David Bowie so all types of music apart from rap/nu metal/black metal and metal!

again, it's not the song of brittney spears. it's actually an old song sung by a girl. some people i asked told me it was helen reddy who sang it. i'm not sure though if it was she. i can't find the lyrics and the actual artist whenever i type "don't let me be the last to know" in any search engines. what shows up is brittney's song which caries the same title. hope anyone out there can help. thanks.

Especially the song "Voices", his voice sounds EXACTLY like the singer from another band and I can't figure it out. It's driving me crazy. Any suggestions?

if not, then it's very worthwhile to learn.

most of us after we die will be spending almost eternity playing harps in heaven....
if you practice playing now, you'll probably be able to impress the sexiest angels in the sky and claim them for perhaps thousands of years.

harps sound very beautiful, as well.
lap harps are pretty cheap and fun, and sound great too.

Does anybody else miss REAL country music? And by that, I mean people like Conway, George Strait, Reba, Waylon Jennings, people like that. I am so tired of "artists" who think they can sing. Bring back the REAL country music!

The Marine Corps ball is coming up and I've been selected to be the DJ. Can anyone give me some suggestions on the music that should be played for dancing? No slow dancing. It needs to be clean and adhere to all crowds. Thanks for you help!

Is there a particular song that brings you to tears even though its not sad? Is there an artist with the power to make you scream, dance, jump, cry, ***, laugh? Lyrics that make you remember how good it is be to be alive, or remind you to call your loved ones and tell them how you feel? Make you so angry you shout the refrain in the car as you drive or in the shower like a madperson until you're hoarse?

Comments with your answer encouraged.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE:

Rufus Wainright's version of Cohen's 'Hallelujah', Flaming Lips' 'Do You Realize?' and Iron and Wine's 'Upwards Over the Mountain' seem to have a power over me that I can't reign in.... Tears regardless of whose presence I'm in or what mood I'm in.

Modest Mouse's 'Float On', Beck's 'Girl', and Hot Chip's entire album 'The Warning' all make me implicitly happy regardless of my state at the time.

Lastly, for raw power and intelligence unsurpassed, Iron and Wine, The Shins, and Jose Gonzales all deserve a Nobel....

First time i know the lyric of this beautiful song, i get confused. What's the meaning of Northern Star? What is the relation between the title and the lyric itself?

Some parts of the lyiric are:
I have learnt my lesson well
The truth is out there I can tell
Don't succumb & don't give in to their lies
And goodbye...
Northern Star

Live your life without regret
Don't be someone who they forget
When you're lost reach out for me
And you'll see, she's not far
Northern Star

Please share what you know...

Rules: you have to name a musical feature found in the Rondo and define it.
I'll start with the easiest feature of all...

RONDO
A recurring theme seperated by varied episodes. For example; A - B - A - C - A - D - A - E.
