but i think limewire also notify u and say there is no license to what u going to downloading if its not containing it

The actual software program itself is not illegal, the basic or pro versions. The CONTENT that gets downloaded (such as songs) is the problem.
Every time a song gets downloaded from a file sharing program such as Limewire, there are copyright issues. The artists that created the song are not being compensated in any way from these downloaded songs, therefore it is a copyright infringement.

limewire isnt illegal but content which is copyrighted is illegal such as songs or movies

Limewire is not illegal...but certain files and data that is distributed though limewire IS (such as MP3's, DVD's etc etc)

Not illegal - it's just software - but what people use it for is illegal. It's only a matter of time before it gets shut down like WinMX, Kazaa, Napster, et al have been.

Yes i think so because the artists do not get a percentage of the cost when people buy their songs.

the PRO version is not illegal because you paid for it, the basic one is free so in the eyes of the stupid law, it is illegal
