Because those are big parts of living. Would you want to hear a song about someones Income Taxes, bowel movements, dinner, etc.. I wouldn't.

That's just the style of every song we hear because people want to hear songs they can relate to. The industry promotes what will sell. There are songs out there about purple floppy gloves, I'm sure, but how many people would buy it?
