I do realize that you can't really compare them but my friend thinks goo goo dolls are better, but obvisouly CSNY is without the Y sometimes. I won't necessarily give 10 points to whoever likes CSNY, ill give it to the person with the best explained answer. Just pick which one is best all-around that you would rather listen too

Maybe it's denail on my part, but lately I've been hearing a lot of 80s songs on the local oldies station, and I think, "No! It's way too soon!"
As it is, they've stopped playing 50s songs. Now it's just 60s, 70s and 80s. Nineties oughta be coming up pretty soon... instant nostalgia!

It's an upbeat soft-rock, almost country-sounding song. The lead vocal is male, and there seems to be a backup female vocal. I think the male might be Eric Clapton, because the song and voice are awful reminiscent of "Lay Down Sally". The chorus finishes with the words. . .

" 'Cause I don't love you and you don't love me" and then "La la la lala".

I know these help requests always sound silly, but I hope I gave someone enough to steer me in the right direction.

I am looking for some old-time gospel songs that were sung using shaped notes. I am looking for the actual songs (cassettes, CDs. etc...) not sheet music. The entire song doesnt need to be in shaped notes. Does anyone know where I could find such songs? Thanks

When i was at T in the park a few years ago travis came out and sang "why does it always rain on me" 1 minute into the song it rained and the crowd sang back word for word.
REM played later that evening and half way through the song.The lead singer pulled the plug and sang an accapella with the crowd.Lasting 14 minutes.
Last year the lead singer of Keane leaned as far over the stage as he could and stretched the microphone stand out about 8 feet above the crowd as we all sang "eveyone changes".
Thinking about this moment really is to much for me to handle,the music gives me butterflys and my eyes water.
