When i was at T in the park a few years ago travis came out and sang "why does it always rain on me" 1 minute into the song it rained and the crowd sang back word for word.
REM played later that evening and half way through the song. The lead singer pulled the plug and sang an accapella with the crowd.Lasting 14 minutes.
Last year the lead singer of Keane leaned as far over the stage as he could and stretched the microphone stand out about 8 feet above the crowd as we all sang "eveyone changes".
Thinking about this moment really is to much for me to handle, the music gives me butterflys and my eyes water. What is this feeling i have for music?

These feelings you're having are a physical response to a wonderful memory.

Your description was SO emotive that I totally understood what a wonderful time you had...ever thought about a career in writing?

It's amazing the power that music has on people. Music is one of the few things in life that reaches down and touches the soul of a human being. That's why when we're happy or sad or angry, we reach out to a song or a type of song...it talks to our souls. I don't know how, and I don't know why, but I do know that it DOES. It's amazing.

I agree with the first answer lol, also if you did any kind of es etc, when they play a particular track you were buzzin on, then that feeling is reinforced, again later, if you here it again.l but I get that feelin even though I dont do drugs any more. Drugs are bad for you just say no.

Sometimes it's the music, sometimes it's the occasion & sometimes it's both. Not sure it's worth trying to analyse it too much, just enjoy the memories.
