i don't by that primeval is based on a true story. i mean come on. in the previews on youtube it sayd he wasn't human. hollywood stretches the truth on half of these ''true story'' horror movies. and the texas chainsaw massacre deff. wasn't based on a true story either

I asked this question before with no answers...so I'm going to try one more time. There was a fictional movie back in the 90's or early 2000's about a guy (a priest maybe?) who was searching for the lost testament of Jesus Christ...it was a "church conspiracy" movie, and I can't remember the name of it, or who was in it...help please??? It's not the Ninth Gate or Stigmata....I just can't remember and it's driving me crazy!!!! Thanks
