i don't by that primeval is based on a true story. i mean come on. in the previews on youtube it sayd he wasn't human. hollywood stretches the truth on half of these ''true story'' horror movies. and the texas chainsaw massacre deff. wasn't based on a true story either

If you go to the website (which has a pretty interesting interactive area), the movie is based on an elusive serial killer in Africa, but it is not about the actual story of the killer, just the lore. There is a mass murderer in the area who has killed many people and mass graves have been found, but no, it's not based on the real man or anything remotely true. Texas Chainsaw is just Ed Gein and a few other inspirations, but nothing concrete.
