It was an o.k. movie - I'm not sorry I saw it but Jennifer Hudson was awesome. It was pretty much like all the other want to be singers movies.

If you enjoy 1960-70 ish R&B music, then you will enjoy this movie. I grew up listening to this type of music so I enjoyed to movie and the music.

It was infact very good movie. I watched it several times although it belong to my dad's era.
