What movie or TV character is...?

Hey. Can anyone think of a tv or movie character (who's a minority) who's fictional character is like "pitied" and poor and stuff? Or a minority character who's considered "dangerous" and whatnot?

(I'm not being racist, it's a school assignment on stereotypes =P)

All of the "Good Times" characters were poor. (It was a 70's sitcom on TV)
