I thought the movie was so beautifully played out and showed such strength of character and the credo that if you believe you can achieve ... I loved the part when he was playing basketball with his son and his son said he wanted to be a professional basketball player and his dad told him to not get his hopes up and then was trying to rush him so he could get to his non-paying intern job because HE wanted to become a stockbroker against all odds ... and he just gets it ... and he looks at his son and tells him to never let anyone tell you you can't live your dream. It was sooo incredibly moving and the moral of the whole movie. His wife tried to tell him to not live his dream. It seemed everyone in the movie tried to tell him that. The acting was supreme and little Jaden Smith has some excellent acting chops!

I found the movie to be great.. it was very heart-warming just an all around beautiful movie. I almost cried at the end and I pretty much never cry at movies. I think Will Smith was great in the movie and so was the kid!

I love this time of year, when the best movies are finally released just in time for the awards shows. Will Smith and this story are about struggle and initiative to take control of your own life and dreams.

I liked it and cried when the dad finally attained some success. Did you know that the tall guy who crossed the street at the end was the real guy whose life the film was based on?

I liked it. I saw it on bootleg so it wasn't that enjoyable. (Especially when I heard a girl crying & eating her popcorn.)
