pretty straight and simple - I think Vader would kick his dumplins from Yavin to Coruscant.

ooh this is a tough one...

First of all let's look at Maul's death. He took on a Jedi Master and a Padawn, at the same time!!! AND held his own! He killed Qui Gon, then defeated Obi Wan. The only reason he died was because he let his guard down, allowing Obi to leap up and slice him. When he is alert and battle ready, he kicked both of their butts.

So, Darth Maul VS Vader from episode IV. I think my vote would go Maul. He's fast, agile, the double sabers, he's got it all. PLUS he was trained from a very young age by Sidious. He is a Sith killing machine.

When Anakin fell into the lava, he was severely injured, and lost most of his force powers. (except for force choke, force push, those kind) He is a lot weaker than his original self, able to leap around and kill Dooku. Against your average Imperial General, he can choke anyone. And against any non-force warrior he could pretty much dominate. But once he ran into Luke, he had a tough time. He still won because he was much more experienced than Luke, but he lacks the youth and agility.

That was part of the whole story of Vader. Before he was defeated by Obi Wan, he had the potential to be the best of the Jedi Warriors. But because of his lust for power, he lost. Forced to live the rest of his life as a shell of his former self, stripped of his powers, separated from his friends, and tormented by the burns from the lava.

Darth Vader is still the ultimate bad guy, but I don't think he could overpower Maul.

Now Anakin from E3, that would be a fight to witness......

Darth Vader before getting the rest of his limbs cut off? Definitely yes. Darth Vader after getting rest of limbs cut off, burned, and then put into the black suit? Maaayyybbbeeee a possibility. Darth Vader 20 years later and probably now in his 40s? Only if he is in good shape still and if Darth Maul doesn't know how to use Force Lightning or discover that he is vulnerable to it. If not.., than no. He will get creamed. BTW Somebody should do a fan movie of a fight contest between the two and we could see who wins ;)

I don't know...Vader could use his advanced Sith and Jedi powers. But Darth Maul is pretty quick and agile..(and that whole double Light Saber thing. Ouch).

I loved the scene where he flipped off the sand cruiser thing and started taking care of business with Qui Gon Jin in Episode 1.

It would be a good fight.

Darth Maul, while a bad a$$, kicked butt because of his acrobatics. He could dodge people, jump behind them and do his killing. Vader wouldn't put up with this. Vader would catch maul in mid sommersault and hold him in mid air an anally violate him with his light saber and kill Maul from the inside out.

Ep III Vader could stomp Darth Maul. He's young, he's got robot arms and legs, he's Pi**ed off at the World and he's not gettin' any lovin' from Padme anymore.

By the time erp IV rolls around, he's barely evil enough to kill off the old, fat version of Obi Wan Kenobi, and he botched that, allowing Kenobi to "transform" into a guiding spirit...

By ep VI, it's just obvious that he just wants it to end, go off and play catch with his son "Buzz LIghtyear" uh, I mean Luke...

Darth Maul would eat Old Vader for lunch.
(Unless he were old, fat, and lazy also...)
