1.His battlefield genius garners him fear and respect from the Germans, and resentment and misunderstanding from the Allies. A military historian and poet, he believes he was a warrior in many past lives, and that he is destined for something great during this life, but his stubbornness and controversial methods nearly prevent the fulfillment of that destiny.
2.A group of passengers struggle to survive and escape, when their ocean liner completely capsizes at sea.
3. Melodrama about a bomber on board an airplane, an airport almost closed by snow, and various personal problems of the people involved.
4. A man and woman agree to meet on the same weekend each year. The two are seen changing, years apart, always in the same room in different scenes. Each of them always appears on schedule, but as time goes on each has some personal crisis that the other helps them through, often without both of them understanding what is going on.

I'd like Americans views of his new film, particulaly New Yorkers.
Is it too soon to make such a film considering the number of victims families?
Should he have consulted more of the victims families first?
Is it right that Hollywood should profit from this?
Would you feel differently if it were a different director?
How would you feel if it was a foreign made film?
Should the profits go to a victims fund?

I'm British by the way, I'm interested in American's opinions of this.

Based on the pictures I saw and the movie that he directed "A girl in the Cafe", I don't think he will do a great job and I'm worried!

Maybe Stephen Spielberg or Peter Jackson will be GREAT for it!!!!!

It has to be a particular kind of 'badness' to get my stamp of approval but some that are my favorites are 'Showgirls', 'Scarface', of course 'Plan 9 From Outer Space', 'Deep Blue Sea', 'Andy Warhol's Heat', just to name a few.

What criteria do you apply to your choices if you like bad movies? Which ones do you love because they are BAD?

I was just wondering,
Mimi, Roger, Angel, and Collins, did they all actually have AIDS or were some of them just HIV+ ?

I'm assuming Angel had AIDS since he died. But Roger and Mimi were taking AZT so does that mean they still just had HIV? And Collins never took AZT

I think the novel is very good suspense wise.
The movie is just crap and if u haven't read the novel, you won't understand what's going on.
