About a 3 or 4. If you want scary
Exorcist 6 or 7
Ringu (Japanese) 6 or 7

I'd rate it about a 3 also....
in 1982 when the movie was first released it may have barely been a 5 but now? The special effects are almost as bad (not quite) as the originally release of Alfred Hitchock's Birds
not a bad movie though...It's good gfor a laugh or two

Maybe a 4 or 5. But it depends on what you think is scary. Like if you saw Pulse or something, this one is no big deal. But if you really aren't a scary movie person, and you get scared easy, it might be a little bit scarier.

When it first came out, I'd give it a 8. By todays standards, it's about a 3.

It's not exactly, more cheesy than anything else.
3 out of 10
But having watched that as a kid, I'd give it a rating of 6. ((;
