Honestly, it's a day that I don't want to relive.

I don't know. I still find it very difficult to deal with and that day is still very fresh in my memory. I'm not from NYC, but I made business trips there and would often be in the concourse under the World Trade Center. None of my friends or family were lost, but I know of several consultants who perished. I also have friends who were in the immediate area that day. In fact, I was talking with one friend while it was happening and she was trapped in her building. She didn't know if she was going to live or die. No one knew what was going on. I had to call her mother and let her know that she was OK...at least for the moment. It was a horrible, horrible day and those wounds are still too fresh. Personally, I haven't watched any of the movies on TV on in the theaters. It's just way too soon and too painful.

Because it is the worst day our generation has ever seen.
WTC-the movie is about heroes. There is no mention of terrorism
in it. People need to see it-to know that there were alot of forgotten people that day. It is not about cashing in-I mean are you kidding me?
It happened, and no matter what it will always be there. I saw it-I breathed it, I smelled it- I know people who died, I lived that day wondering if my family was ok-it is nothing to do with reliving-as long as those towers are down, it is always there

Because shallow people recognize how easy it is to capitalize of tragedies. I'd like to see all the profit made off the new World Trade Center movies go to the families of the victims and those impacted the hardest.

The same could go for:

"Why are we making so many freakin' movies about World War II?"

"Why are we making so many freakin' movies about Vietnam?"

Etc, etc...

I really don't understand why everybody is being so critical of this. Unless you're prepared to complain about war films as well, you're just being hypocritical.

You may not want to relive it, but it is a day that Americans will never forget.

because the movie companies want to make allot of money off of others sorrow. I think half of the profits of the movie should go to the families of the tragities.
