I wondered if american audiences really 'got' the significance of the Guy Fawkes mask and november references. Guy Fawkes is about as popular in england as a cross between timothy mcveigh and lee harvey oswald. For americans who didn't know much about guy fawkes, if the main character in V had adopted a 'timothy mcveigh' persona, how would that have affected your viewing of the movie?
