I think captain Barbosa is still alive because When captain Jack Sparow was talking to the two british guards at port Royle about the speed of the black pearl. One of the guards said about captain barbosa "...that hell itself spat him back out"
I have heard about the theorey of the monkey giving a piece of gold to Barbosa. However, it would have no effect because he did not take it dirrectley from the chest just like Will Turner, who recieved it from his father. In both cases only the one who took the coin was affected. In conclusion I think hell spat barbosa back out!

The first two films (4 & 5) were totally awsome. Then the third one (6) was not as good because of the Ewoks. Then the three that were released recently were good but...

Do the whole 6 films stand up as a series? Or did the last three released decrease the value of Star Wars. Like were the first three (two) so much better than the last three (four) released?

Now then todays topic, is al about comdys, and the movie's we love to laught too. Now there's been many comdys before, from the rom-coms all the classic slapstick comdy's.
my all time fave comdys would have to be a classic already "meet the parents" and a cult classic "zoolander" how about yours choices? what is your all time fave comdy film?

There are so many movies out there that don't get the recognition they deserve because of big-named, big-budgeted "blockbusters" that take up the theaters and such... I always wonder why some people snub the independent film circuit, because some of the movies are really, really good...

One that immediately comes to mind is Shattered Glass, based on true story about Stephen Glass, a young reporter, who made stories up and passed them off as true events. I think I've watched that DVD at least 20 times... it also has one of the best audio commentaries I've heard.

What are some of yours?
