Unquestionably : Julie Andrews. Though both are better known for their ability in musical movies; but Julie always known for her family-touch approaches. Movie goers loved her for her simplicity, her easy approach, and her ease with other actors. Miss Streisand did possessed lots of acting abilities, but what she lacked (according to me...ofcourse) was frankness.

Julie Andrews, she's more modest. Barbra Streisand is good, but she believes her own hype and that Diva attitude is beyond annoying. Besides, Ms. Andrews was MARIA and MARY....but, then, I do love DOLLY, and FANNY. Hard question.

They are both amazing!!!! They do have different styles. The only way to compare them I believe would be vocal range. I think Julie Andrews has a larger and stronger vocal range.
