I am a big time movie buff, I watch a lot of movies, but lately I haven't been able to find any good movies, does anybody have any recommendations. I am particurly fond of comedys, action/thriller, war, and some drama. Not really into musical, chick flicks, old movies (70's and later) and some westerns.

The emperor melted his face with his own lightening force in revenge of the sith but in the return of the jedi he used the same thing on Luke and it did not melt him. A hole in the story or plausible explanation?

I remember seeing a movie when i was younger. It was about an old man who died and then there was a big party. I dont remember alot about it, but i do know that the adults wanted to bury him and the kids wanted to honor his last wishes and send him out to sea. The kids built a raft, put the old man on it, set it on fire, then set him out to sea. Please tell me the name of this movie. Thanks!
