It is going to be installed next week and i am trying to decide what movie to watch first... my only criteria is that it has many loud noises (like explosions) and is actually a good movie...

When I first got mine, I watched "A night at the Roxbury".

A guilty pleasure I suppose... :^)

Starwars episode 2 is a good one, with a variety of sound effects from low pitched to high pitched, and a super subwoofer test when a mine blows up an asteroid.

Plus, Starwars (and pinkfloyd's the wall) have the THX setup guide on the dvd (audio features) to help you adjust your system before the movie.

The original 'Blade' movie would be great since it has a good mix of explosion and thumpin' music.
