I'm always on a tight budget for my independent film production agency and end up shorting myself on all financial aspects of my movies.
Does anyone know where I can get acess to set designing tips or tutorials?
I know this seems like a broad question, but I have been having trouble making my sets look authentic on a budget. They often times have repetative looks to them and don't get the effect I'm looking towards.

Also, is it a good idea to buy or make those oddball props that add to scenery?
As far as buying goes, what are some good places to buy props at?

Please anyone that knows anything about making sets would you post what you're grandest ideas have been that looked authentic and great?

This of course, would never happen, but it's a question I've been pondering and it would be interesting to know the outcome.

Is Hollywood on its way out?
This may just be my age showing, but every film I've seen in the last 8 or 9 years just hasn't quite cut the mustard with me. Sure, there's been some films worth watching to pass the time, but does anyone feel that the movies are becoming as badly made and marketed as the music industry has become over the same period - a kind of throw away movie world with bad acting and too much gloss?

Coachise was played by veteran Mexican actor, Miguel Inclan

But who were the actors that played the other Indians, Alchessy, Santanta, and Geronimo. Those actors have never properly credited. Does anyone know the name of those actors???

The answer is yes, he is an annoying, unfunny dork.

(Anyone who brings up 'Nacho Libre' was the #2 movie this weekend - that's because 99% of Hollywood movies suck and there isn't anything else to watch. That and Americans are dorks.)
