I've never seen the preview for "Click" but if I had a remote control for life I would rewind back to the first few days after my boyfriend (now husband) and I started dating. Back when we where still shy and things where cute :) (he is still the best, but we always miss that first kiss and how we felt.)
I would fast forward to what my life will be like when I'm 60, if I'll still be as happy as I am now. And I'd then rewind back to the time now and fix anything that I needed to fix. I would pause the best moments and slow motion the beginning of my life, My dad died when I was 11 so I would slow that time down so I could spend more time with him. Scene Selection would be cool also..
But I'm actually pretty happy with the person I've become. I'm proud of myself and I'm proud of all the choices I've maid in my life.

If I had a remote control for life I would go back in time and stop Jim Carrey's parents from breeding...and then after that I would destroy the remote.
Nothing good (outside of a world without Jim Carrey in it) could possibly come from such a device.
Think about it for a sec...we all have good and bad memories, but memories are fluid and can you imagine going back in time to a "cherished" memory just to find out you "remembered" it wrong? Yikes...that would blow chunks.
OR...fast forward to your future...nine times out of ten the future will not make any sense to you and if it does...it's going to dee'press the crap out of you...because you didn't spend the time leading up to it being prepared for it. And let's not even get into the Pause, slow motion or scene selection.
BUT...I would kill for a MUTE button.

I don't think I would venture to go backwards or forwards...My life has been what it has been, and it will be what it will be. But I would, I think use the remote control exactly the way Adam Sandler used it in the clip I saw: to rewind back to times I can't remember well, then when someone says "remember back when we (whatever)?" and I am clueless, I could just pause, rewind, review that part, and return and say "oh, yes! I remember it well!".

All good questions... so little time... ooh, the pressure *aargh*
Rewind?
90s at high school. Best time of my life.
Fast Forward?
Nah. I'll just take it as it comes...
Pause/ Scene Selection/ Slow Motion?
Some 3/4 years ago when my dad was alive & well in our European vacation. That was awesome. To just have that time replayed over & over again, to spend it with him would be divine.

What part of your life would you rewind back to? THE BAD PARTS, SO I COULD FIX ALL OF MY MISTAKES COMPLETELY.
or
What would you fast forward to? I WOULD FAST FORWARD TO GETTING MY TEACHER'S DEGREE.
or
Would you like to put your life on "Pause?" I WOULD PAUSE THE DAY IT SNOWS IN TEXAS! Slow motion? I WOULD SLOW MOTION THE DAY I ACHIEVE ALL OF MY GOALS. Scene Selection? I WOULD CHOOSE THE DAY I WAS BORN...

I would rewind back to all of the concerts I've been to...just to see them again.
I would fast forward through my job!
I would like all of the traffic to be paused on my way home from work! I would get home in 15 minutes instead of 35!

I would go back to the age of seven and start a career as a body builder. Then I would fast forward to whenever I first lose my virginity. I would probably put that into slow motion.

I would use pause often so I could reflect before reacting. I think one of those ignore features from chat rooms would be best. I could just ignore all the negative energy and live like bubble boy in a circle of positive light, pausing and researching. That actually doesn't sound all that much fun.
