Comics & Animation - May 2007

I enjoy Naruto and Bleach.
I liked FullMetal Alchemist to death, but I don't really want to watch ones about machines.
Fruits Basket was okay but nahh...
Trinity Blood and Blood+ were great!!!
DBZ is original of course!
ummm... I think those are the ones i have actually watched and liked. I appreciate all of your help.

I would like it to be not a huge long series like DBZ, but if it is it is okay especially if it is ongoing.

I'm just getting back into reading comic books after almost a 20 year hiatus. I've started with the new Omega Flight (since I was once a diehard Alpha Flight fan) and am interested in catching up on the events of House of M and Civil War.

I know it is a lame question to ask since the series is quite acient, but does anybody know if there are plans to continue with it? Despite its age it seems to be quite popular with the general public. I know that there are 160 + episodes, but you always want more.

I used to watch an old cartoon as a kid, but I can't remember what it was called. It involved "bots", the creator of these bots along with his team of his own bots he called "boyz", and his little sister. At one point in the cartoon, we would be asked to put on our 3D glasses. I watched this cartoon on the Canadian network YTV.

I searched wikipedia's article on YTV and I have no clue listed it is, and I've perused the list twice. If anyone has a better memory than I do, please tell me the name of that show.

Can you identify this 1950s era Sci Fi artist?
I once had a calendar with artwork taken from the covers of those old 1950s pulp Sci Fi magazines, such as Amazing Stories.

One picture I am especially interested in finding can be described as follows: an American astronaut is laying on a gondola in the canals of Mars, surrounded by beautiful human-looking Martian women feeding him grapes, while a Martian in his true monstrous form is secretly crawling up the side of the boat to stab him.

I thought the artist's name was Virgil Finlay. However, when I look at his artwork online, it is not the same style. The style I remember looked more like this: http://www.rainfall.com/posters/scifimag...
