I enjoy Naruto and Bleach.
I liked FullMetal Alchemist to death, but I don't really want to watch ones about machines.
Fruits Basket was okay but nahh...
Trinity Blood and Blood+ were great!!!
DBZ is original of course!
ummm... I think those are the ones i have actually watched and liked. I appreciate all of your help.

I would like it to be not a huge long series like DBZ, but if it is it is okay especially if it is ongoing.

You seem to like series that have a lot of action and specifically fighting (Naruto, Bleach, DBZ), but you say that you aren't interested in "machines," which rules out a lot of action mecha series.

You should consider Yu Yu Hakusho. It's got a bit of a supernatural bent (like Bleach) and lots of fighting. It's pretty similar to the ones you say you like.

You might also enjoy Inu-Yasha or One Piece. Both are mostly action, with a bit of comedy. Among older series, you might like The Slayers.

You might also like Full Metal Panic FUMOFFU. (The other two seasons of Full Metal Panic are probably too machine-centric for your tastes.)

Try Black Cat. It kicked butt.
Angel Sanctuary. It rocked out loud.
Satan666. It was like a mix of DBZ & Naruto. It rocked. Plus it was created by the creator OF DBZ.

My favorite ones a few years back were Ranma 1/2 and Tenchi. They are really funny and the great dramatic anime facial drawings that crack me up.

All my friends who liked FMA also enjoyed reading/watching D.Gray-man. No machines, but some occult themes with a mix of weird characters. (It's ongoing, last time I checked).

If you are willing to watch subs, then I recommend One Piece. And if you don't like that, then i feel sorry for you, cuz anyone who can enjoy Bleach but not One Piece is void of much reason. Lol.
