Hi not sure what bear your on about, but try www.retrojunk.com. It has old tv shows, cartoons and commercials from the 70s, 80s & 90s. If it was on in the 80s chances are its on there somewhere. Good luck.

I know that this may be out of topic but when you said those descriptions, it really reminded of a cartoon I watched in cartoonnetwork way back when I was still a kid. Except the cartoon I was watching wasn't about a bear with your description but a gorilla with a purple hat and trousers with suspenders and a little bowtie. Anyway, the gorilla's name is Magilla Gorilla. Sorry for being so out of topic but it really reminded me of him. Weird....hehe ;p

well it sounds like Rupert the bear, as he wears stripey trousers, however I can't remember the rotar helicopter blades on his head, but he may of worn a hat like this in one of his many adventures!

I sort of remember the one you mean. I think it may have been an advert for something though. There's loads of good sites for 80s and cult cartoons so its bound to be on there somewhere.
