Blond calls the transit company and says "I would like to get schedules for three of your bus routes, please." Operator replies, "Yes, Ma'am, what are the routes?" Blond replies, "Well first I would like the 'Number 47 Main Street', and second I would like the 'Number 125 City Circle Loop." Operator then says "What about the third route Ma'am?" Blond pauses and says "Well I couldn't see a number on the bus I saw." Operator says "Well did it say the name of the route?" Blond perks up and replies "It sure did, right on the front sign it said 'Out Of Service'!"

where to? with who? what car? eat what? sleep where? buy what?

for me, i would drive to chicago as im from los angeles. i would go with my sister and mom. i would wanna go on an old beetle. i would eat anything i want and not worry about calories. i would sleep in cheap motels and luxurious hotels. i would buy cool souvenirs and postcards and other stuff.

Three men go up to heaven, and St Peter meets them at the gate. He says to them "Before you can pass, you must tell me what you would like to hear said about you at your funeral."

The first man steps up, and he says "I was a doctor, and I would like people to say that I was excellent at my job and saved a lot of lives."

"Very good," says St Peter, "Enter heaven!"

The second man steps up and says "I was a teacher, and I would like to hear people say that I was excellent at my job and made a real difference to children, because they are the future!"

St Peter lets the man pass into heaven.

The third man steps up, looking nervous. "Well", he says. "I guess, if I could hear anything, I'd want them to say...

Look, he's moving!!"

Whoopi Goldberg used to have that strong churchy black woman look about her. And it was even attractive too. Like here http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v491/stinkylulu/WG-whoopi-headshot.png . But now Whoopi just looks like a bum every day on The View. She hasn't gone back to her old look once. ...people try to lure in y!a users by saying things like, "10 points for the best answer!!" and "+2 points!!"? Their question isn't special, they don't have some secret privilege - everyone gets +2 points for answering a question (as long as they don't get a violation) and if you have the best answer, you get +10 points - no matter what!!!

ahhh!! just a little pet peeve. i still answer these questions, and just hope that the people who do this are new users who will eventually learn the ins and outs of y!a :)

Have you all noticed that when we put up the questions there are so many different artists that have recorded the same song and sometimes even more than one had a hit with the same song. Don't you think the folks that say classic country is no good or boring should take a lesson from this. It must be good stuff or so many wouldn't be recording it multiple times. Besides if it wasn't great we wouldn't have anything to have fun with on here and to listen and enjoy. What are your thoughts on this?

a) I am great!! Publishers would be chasing after me with blank checks if they could only read my stuff!!
b) I'm usually satisfied with what I write.
bb) I'm usually not satisfied with what I write.
c) I stink! But I enjoy it and I'm getting better!
d) I either LOVE or HATE everything I write, there is no middle ground!
e) I have bursts of creativity but they are infrequent. Without them my stuff is lackluster.
f) I am the absolute worst writer ever!
g) This is th dumbest question I've ever encountered!!!!

I am trying to think of this television show that I use to watch as a kid, and it's really bugging me because I can't remember it. I also don't remember much about it...

I remember some girl hosted the show, with blond hair and brown eyebrows.
And something with these little monsters or something, a blue and pink one...

It makes me feel sad. I asked a question about Iran and out of 14 answers, only one person actually tried to explain without a) being a jerk or b)not actually answering the question.

How does it make you feel? Do you even ask serious questions to which you really want to know the answers anymore?
