I have to retell a fairytale for English and I'm not really sure which one I should do. I want everyone to already know it so they'll notice the differences, and I want it to have a pretty weak female so I can drastically change her character. Not Cinderella or the Frog Prince please, there are already too many retellings of those.

I've loved the 50's, 60's and 70's since I was a kid. Unfortunitaly I wasn't around then. I like current things too and I couldn't live without my computer but I feel like I don't relate to people my age. I love Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Welcome Back Kotter, Rockford Files, Hart to Hart, Star Wars, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, The BeeGees and Elvis. I don't own a single pair of pants that aren't bellbottoms or "flare" as they call them now. I was watching Welcome Back Kotter and saw Julie's huge bellbottom jeans and would love to have some like that but they don't make them anymore that big! I have two disco balls in my room that I've had since I was a kid. I love Hairspray because it's about the 60's. Can anyone else relate?
