closet James Blunt fans? I am really into Tool, SOAD, NIN, but I just saw James Blunt on Later with Jules Holland, and I was impressed, to my surprise!

Wow-so many negatives on him. Here in the states we just know some of his music and I like his songs. He was the first British musician to have a number 1 hit here since Elton John's "Candle in the Wind." He's also appeared in a TV series filmed in my neighborhood, "Wildfire", and has been very personable the few times I've met him. It sounds like people are saying he's gay, although I don't understand all the British slang. What difference does that make? I think we Americans know the music, but don't know about any controversy concerning him.

We learn something new every day! Didn't have you down as being into Tool, SOAD, and NIN, Shan! All very good bands btw....as for the question about James Blunt, no but we do also listen to Robbie Williams and dare we say it......Will Young lol.

Sorry, I've heard the name but never heard him sing. He's never on Radio 3,4,5, 7 or World Service and I still have not worked out how to use the TV in this house...

i dont like james blunt, i like my indie music, franz ferdinand, kaiser chiefs and some of the the other indie bands around now but i do like will smith as well

I used to like him, when he first released 'You're Beautiful' but now I find him quite depressing. And in my opinion all his songs sound the same... boring.
