Baby boomers, what are some of the best TV shows you grew up with that carried a "moral to the story" theme?

I'm doing a report and would like some suggestions on these types of old TV shows. I always liked the Lone Ranger, because his moral code was emphasized in the episodes.

Some shows, like Lucy, ect. were just mainly comedy, so I don't mean those. Leave it to Beaver always seemed to convey a lesson to be learned, so more like those, if you can think of any (that children should watch today). Little House would be another example; looking for more..

Do you think this is a really harsh lie?

I have to sneak out to go out on a date with a guy... See, my parents are very strict, but tomorrow it's both mine and my best friend's brithday... I told my parents I'm gonna be celebrating it at my friend's house, but I'm actually going on a date... Do you think what I'm doing is really bad?

Chad and Mike.?

Chad and Mike were a pair of winos. They woke up with the shakes one
afternoon to find that they only had forty cents between them. Chad began
to climb the walls, but Mike said calmly," Look old man, give me the forty
cents and I'll show you how we can drink free all day."

So they went into a delicatessen, Chad bought a frankfurter and placed it
in Mike's fly. Next, they went into a near by bar and ordered drinks. When
the bartender asked for his money Chad dropped to his knees and started
sucking on the frankfurter. The bartender screamed," You damn queers get
out of here."

They repeated this scene in bar after bar, until they had visited a dozen
of them. Finally Chad complained, "Listen Mike, it is a great scheme but
my knees are getting sore from hitting the floor so much!"

Mike shook his head. "You should complain," said Mike, "We lost the hotdog
after the second bar!"

What is the name of TV Programme?

My dad talked about this programme - The Bus Stop - about 3 men on a bus and one of the guys looked like a bit like Hilter holding a ticket machine.

That's from his view.

I've draw my dad-in-law to be for Secret Santa. So I can't ask him again.

I think it was from 60-80s Tv Programme. I looked up Bus Stop but found nothing.

Help!
