i have an american accent, but i just think the british sounds really formal and proper. i love how they talk!!!!

I tutor preteens/young teens and they all listen to pretty bad music (Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers, FOB, P!atD) and I told them, "you know there's alot better music out there?" and they said they know, but they're too young to know it.
What kind of excuse is "I'm too young to listen to good music?"
When I was their age, I was jamming to the Beatles, do they expect good music to just come to them with age?
Anyone else come across this kind of behavior before?

A middle-aged woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. While on the operating table she had a near death experience. Seeing God she asked, "Is my time up?" God said, "No you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live."

Upon hearing this, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face lift, liposuction and a tummy tuck. She even had someone change her hair color. Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it.

She was released from the hospital but while crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by a car.

Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another 43 years?! Why didn't you pull me out of the path of that car?"

God Replied,"I didn't recognize you."

I am fed up with people looking at me as if I've lost the plot because I love clubbing and I can dance half the youngsters off the floor and I love it. I dress trendy and have been told I only look as if I'm in my late 20's early 30's, but what does it matter, is there a written rule that when you hit a certain age you have to listen to Cliff Richards, and only allowed to go to the social club now and again because your supposed to be knitting or baking, or am I wrong should I not be allowed to dance and enjoy myself anymore.

Tell us girls, what are you as good at or even better than a man at in the working world.

Personally, I hire about 3 women to each man in my businesses and they are jobs either can do. I hire based on abilities and attitude and so far that is what has happened. I don't try to do this.... my daughter pointed these stats out to me. I didnt realize it.

Okay so this might be a little long. So about 2 years ago I met this guy. We dated for a while but then we broke things off. A few months later he started dating this other girl. He would still tell me how much he liked me and how if him and his gf would break up he would be with me. Well, that went on for about a year. On one of their breaks in the summer we hooked up, and stayed really close every since then. About a month ago him and his gf broke up, and we've hooked up and have been getting closer. The problem is, he lives 3 hours away from me, because he moved to college.

Do you think it would all be worth it, or am I just in over my head in the whole situation???
