My vote: TEXAS!!!

I'm from Louisiana (born and raised till age 12 in Slidell, moved to Opelousas, then to Shreveport, then attended LSU in Baton Rouge for my Bachelor's. Left there at age 23.)

I now live in Texas--Harris-Brazoria County line near Houston. I'm about to move to Austin and get a new feel for a totally different area of this state.

I hope the folks in Louisiana don't kill me for saying this: Texas is the greatest state! I love it here! It's not a rejection or disrespectful of Louisiana, but I just feel more comfortable in Texas and around Texans. At age 28--which means I've only been here for five years--I hope the Texans don't kill me for being so quick (and proud) to refer to myself as a bonified Texan now!

Louisiana born, Texas proud! Or, maybe, if Louisiana is the greatest state, then Texas is the greatest country! God Bless Texas!

all the people whos only line of defense is thinking that im a 60 year old man... either their mom told them too much about the internet and they dont belong on it or they are the 60 year old man themself. and if they think that... why answer my question anyways? some people are just stuck up and stupid and it bothers me. what do you think?
