cats dogs only have about 10 cats have about 30+

Personally, I'd say cats. My cats always meow at me to eat or to play or to get petted. My dog only barks at the mailman.

I think dogs. My pit bull Max makes a kind of "purry" sound when I pet him. He is too cute.

probably dogs... we had a friend visiting who's dog actually purred when it was scratched on the butt. (in addition to the whining, barking, crying, howling, and so on.)
