I am specifically interested in measures 9 - 22. I know measures 1 - through the first beat of 9 is a sentence. After that, I am not sure if it is some kind of sentence with a distorted continuation AND THEN comes the transition, or if the transition starts at measure 16 with the restatement of the basic idea! I am very confused, and I need to better understand this piece to discuss it! Thank you for any input or ideas you may have!

In the movie (1996) with Leonardo DiCaprio, Romeo wears a shirt that has a symbol on it, it's a heart and thorns or something looks all tangled together.
