All of these jokes get me to thinking about my first skydiving instructor. During class he would always take the time to answer any of our stupid first-timer questions.

One guy asked, "If our chute doesn't open, and the reserve doesn't open, how long do we have until we hit the ground?"

Our jump master looked at him and in perfect deadpan and answered, "The rest of your life."

so this movie was late 80's early 90's. i don't remember too much about it but this lady had a little girl and she was a single mom. one night she left to go to school or work and left her little girl at home. the girl started cooking and playing and was wearing an indian outfit for school, she accidently plugged in too many things and blew a fuse. she was scared and called 911. the police came and took the girl away from her mom because they said she was an unfit mother. so threw the whole movie the mom is trying to get her daughter back

The past two or three years the raises have been around 20%, plus no out of pocket raises. Also, the company is cracking down on excessive overtime. Does that mean the company is in trouble? Should I be looking for another job? This place is becoming really tight with their raises. Most people around here say that you should just be lucky to have a job. What do you think?
